Heartland Students Registration
Hello families! Welcome to The Studio. We are so excited to have your student in class with us soon. We offer both group and private sewing lessons where students can learn both hand and machine sewing skills year around. Below we have shared our next group classes as well as private lesson information.
Steps to register for group classes:
These classes are for both beginners and experiences students ages 8-14. If your child is out of that range they are encouraged to take private lessons.
Register through our eventbrite and at checkout, choose the “Heartland Charter Student” ticket
Send in your order from the Heartland catalog for approval

Spring break mini sewing workshop:
3 days during spring break
Dates: 4/16, 4/17/ 4/18
Skill level: All levels
Project: Dye and Design: Learning about textile dyeing and printing
Price: $250 (Please use Private lesson $240 for payment of this class as I did not get time to update Procurify with the correct name and amount)

Beginner class:
3 Wednesdays in April starting 4/5
$120
Dates: 4/2, 4/9, 4/30
Time: 3:30pm-5pm
Project: Zipper bag(pencil pouch/ make up bag)
Intermediate class:
(Intermediate students know how to operate a
sewing machine confidently, pin, and cut fabric)
3 Tuesdays in April with two time options
$130
4/1, 4/8, 4/29
Times: 1:30-3:30 or 4-6pm
Students will learn to make a bell sleeve top
Private lessons:
Private lessons are for all ages. Students are allowed creative freedom in what is made and we will help give ideas if a student needs the assistance. We have tools, machines, and a small amount of material in class for use but if a student is creating a big project, they are required to bring their own material.
2 options: 1 single lesson ($70/90 mins) or 4 class package ($240/4, 90 min sessions)

Summer Sewing:
Below is all our summer camp offerings for ages 8 to 16. 3 and 5 day options. All 3 day options are all levels meaning they are beginner and experienced friendly. 3 day camps are Tuesday-Thursday and are for ages 8-14. 5 day camps are Monday- Friday and are for ages 8-16. (If you choose a 5 day option, the remaining balance must be paid out of pocket, or you can reach out to me to make other arrangements ex: use other funds to cover the cost)
